How to Claim Your Podcast on YouTube Podcasts

Step 1. Make sure you have an Email tag in your RSS feed. (You will not be able to claim a podcast without an email in your feed.) 
To do this, go to your Settings page, click Directories, Feed Settings click "Change Settings", then enter an email address and save.

Step 2.
YouTube requires you to verify at the "advanced features" level.
Click on“Settings” at the bottom of the menu
In the dialog that appears choose “Channel” and then select the “Feature Eligibility” tab
Go through the steps to enable “Standard Features”, “intermediate Features” and Advanced Features”.

Step 3.
Go to your one-click directory submission tab on Podomatic 
https://www.podomatic.com/settings/directories If you are not Pro you can contact YouTube directly regarding submitting to them through their process


Here you will see YouTube's requirements for acceptance in their directory.  Please ensure you meet all requirements.  As you can see from this example I need to publish a more recent episode 

Step 4.
Agree to the terms and click on the “Submit Podcast” button. 

Step 5.
A browser window will open. Please follow the steps on YouTube to submit your url. It may take several hours for YouTube to process your feed.

Step 6.
Select “Content” in the left hand menu and then select the “Podcasts” tab
Click on the title of your podcast
Set the visibility to “Public” or “Unlisted” and then click “Save”

Step 7.
Click the 3-dots menu next to the “Save” 
Choose the “Get shareable link” option from the menu that appears
This will copy the link to your clipboard

Step 8
Go back to the Podomatic window
Paste the url you copied into the text box labeled “YouTube Podcasts URL”

Finally click the “Save YouTube podcast url” button

You should be all set up


Click the YouTube submit button

Go back to the Podomatic window

Finally click the “Save YouTube podcast url” button

You should be all set up
