RSS Feed and Podcast URL

RSS Feed

Your podcast is made up of your media files and the information you entered in your podcast settings. All of that information is published to your RSS Feed. Your RSS feed allows people and directories like Apple and Spotify, to access your media and see and hear your podcast.

Your RSS Feed (aka your podcast) is in the form of a URL or “link” that looks like this -  https://yourpodcastitle.podomatic.com/rss2.xml

Your RSS Feed URL can be found and copied from the "Your Links" section of your Manage page. It can also be found by clicking “Settings” then “Directories”.

When you submit to directories, you are submitting your RSS feed to them, giving them access to your show and allowing them to display it for others to listen to on their platform.

Once you have submitted your RSS feed to a directory, All episodes published to your RSS feed will automatically appear on the directory platform. You do not need to submit more than once to any directory.
