EPISODE DESCRIPTION
Lee’tal “Dubplate Style” mixtape is creating waves in the dancehall/reggae scene, Lee’tal displays his skills on original Dancehall instrumental like Sleng Ting, Head To Toe, Golden Hen just to name a few. Fresh from his Summer 2015 US Media Promotion Tour for the mixtape, Lee'tal now back in Jamaica, is gearing up for his upcoming bi-weekly Community event "Save The Future". The event will consist of books give-away, giving clothing to needy children, endeavors Lee'tal hopes will assist in promoting literacy through out his community. Born Rohan Lee in Manchester, Jamaica, this 80’s baby was destined for greatness. November 25 was no longer just another day, but one that a strong black man was born. He drew inspiration from his brother at a tender age and admired his appreciation for music. He soon realized the power of music and began listening to the radio alongside his older brother, this gave him the musical knowledge and confidence to become a member of his schools choir while attending the Mount St. Josephs Preparatory School and then St. Paul’s High School in Mandeville, Manchester, Jamaica. Throughout his days of being a member of the school choir he always paid particular attention to his skills as a storyteller and lyricist. Today these skills are evident in the way he constructs his songs, lyrics and stage performance. Lee’tal’s love for music further grew as his interest escalated into the audio engineering side of the business where he taught himself and took tips from other producers. Later he partnered and built the Voice Room Recording Studio, which developed his musical ear and production skills. In addition to his day-to-day responsibilities of running the Recording Studio, he still found time to write and record his own material and tour the local and international Reggae scene. He later decided to venture on his own where he continued recording and performing while perfecting his craft. With an artistic, creative mind Lee’tal is now a part of the ever-growing production brand Inflowmatiq Entertainment Group. Music is his tool used to express himself, it entertains his ever increasing fans, thus earning him endless love and support in his home town Mandeville. He looks at his talent more as a light given to him by God and his duty is to let it shine for the world to see thus uplifting people. Lee’tal was among the selected few artistes for the international campaign, Unite and End Violence Against Women, which was spearheaded by Jamaica’s Bureau of Woman’s Affairs in their television campaign. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AaZQrti0AfY Born in Manchester, Jamaica, Ancient Priest is elated after winning the 2015 JCDC Festival Song Competition with his entry “Celebration Time”.
