Description "WMU's Host" DJ Mick Hale started Dj-ing back in the late 80's at clubs like Maxwells in Hoboken & as a guest on FM stations like WPRB & WRSU. By the early 90's Hale was resident DJ at the ROXY (Downtown New Brunswick's Largest Dance Club;) where for nearly 7 years he moved the main-room's weekend dance crowds seamlessly from Alternative/UK Dance warm-ups to House, Pop & Techno Remixes. In the side-bar @ ROXY, Hale threw theme parties such as the capacity-crowed "OZ" Wednesdays & "BERLIN" a Goth/Industrial nite on Thursdays & Sundays. After the ROXY closed, Hale moved across the street to spin at the MELODY BAR for nearly 2 more years. Since the late 90's Hale has spun at the following venues: GROUND ZERO & UVE's (Hoboken,) RYAN'S (c.NJ,) THE STATION (Bklyn,) CBGB (NYC,) THE MANCHESTER & SEA-GRASS (in The Grove,) & THE WONDER BAR, ASBURY LANES, BEACH BAR, VuDu & most recently a year+ residency on Saturdays @ SWELL (all in re-energized Asbury Park;) as well as multiple Garden State Equality & OGU fund-raisers.
