THE MISSION of Wind Energy Info is to promote wind energy technology specifically, and all renewable and sustainable sources of energy in general, so that rural agricultural economies are revitalized throughout the United States as a model for what should take place around the world with the consideration that renewable and sustainable energy is economically sound, environmentally sane thereby producing equity for everyone. THE FOCUS of this podcast is to make people aware of the economically viable alternatives associated with wind energy and other renewable energy sources already taking place, the plans for more, and what farming communities across the nation can do to increase their profit potential, preserve their community and successfully carry out their farming operations. Additionally, particular items and issues pertaining to the technical nature of the industry and new/expanding developments will be covered here so that the busy professionals and technicians can easily stay informed while they are on the go. THE GOAL of the Wind Energy Info podcast is to see counties all across the United States and the world become energy (food, fiber and fuel) independent, capable of generating sufficient-to-surplus supplies of renewable energy within their borders that will fuel their day-to-day operations in food, fiber and fuel production resulting in a new, yet old, phenomena in the American way of life- autonomous, self-sufficient rural counties with jobs per acre that will sustain both individual worker and family farm incomes well into the future and way above the poverty line. 'Let us never forget that the cultivation of the earth is the most important labor of man. When tillage begins, other arts follow. The farmers, therefore, are the founders of civilization.' - Daniel Webstermore
