I had the idea to celebrate the music of Jesse Johnson some time ago, but wasn't sure how to approach it, then i saw this via fb...'is Jesse still making music..?' and kept refering to his time in the 80's..!, after i picked myself off of the floor, i thought 'hadn't he heard my interview with the great man in 2009', this interview was done at a time of me finding my feet within radio and having a clear vision of what i'd set out to achieve, he'd released the gargantuan, now classic album, Verbal Penetration Vol. 1 and 2, i'd requested the interview not thinking i'd actually get it, and with these words 'yes,Jesse would love to speak with you,Wayne', from that moment it was 7 days of intricate and intense research,and the rest as they say... My shows back then were not produced to the level there at today, if i had the skills i had now back then it would've been a completly different show regards production, so now...i have skills..!...and with these skills i'm going to give you the interview it should have been, and continue with giving him, Jesse Johnson, the platform he so deserves...
