This journey started in the 1996 when my dad use to drag me to his "stockvel" to be their dj. The old man bought
me a second CD player because I needed to fade in songs between tracks. That when the knowledge of mixing came about
I use to attempt to mix songs using home cd players. I tried as hard as I can to make sure that songs blended in
together even though it was not perfect mixing. A high school friends came to one of gigs I was playing and said he
needs to introduce me to someone who used turntables and was a professional DJ. 1998 I was introduced to DJ Makhekhe.
Since the day I was introduced, I never looked back. At first I was shy to learn how to mix properly. I was intimidated
by DJ Makhekhe's style of mixing. Eventually I stepped up and embarrased myself a couple of times but with his help
eventually I was one of great DJ's around Mamelodi East early 2000. I then started broadening my horizons and started
playing around JHB and PTA. In 2005 got introduced to Channel O producers and ended up being one of the regular guest
DJ's on shows like Oboma and 411. Since my journey started, I'm only getting more and more matured in the type and choices
I make in the music I play. Deep, Soulful and Jazzy house is where my heart is!more
