Did you know that there are ten ways to take care of brain health? The health of your brain depends on the care you give it in the early years. Even in its youth, the brain is susceptible to damage and you can either help it repair itself or prevent it from getting damaged. You can do a lot to protect the brain from damage in its youth. First of all, the brain grows new neurons at a very fast rate. Neurons are the "necks" of the brain that connect the various parts. These cells communicate with each other and form connections that allow the brain to use the information it is receiving. New neurons form quickly but there is a limitation to how many you can have at any given time. When you are young, you have plenty of new cells forming. However, as you get older, new cells start to die and with each death a smaller number of them join the ranks. With time, the number of cells starts to get lower and Alzheimer's and various other neurodegenerative disorders start to take effect. The way you care for your brain while you are younger is through exercise. Exercising three times a week with a good balance will do a lot for the brain. In fact, research has shown that the brain gets the most benefit from exercise when it is working. Exercises like yoga, tai chi or swimming are great ways to get your brain in shape. https://www.sportandmedicalsciences.org/memo-defend-reviews/more
