Preaching the "common salvation" (Jude 3), also known as the "the faith" (Ephesians 4:5), also known as the "Apostle's Doctrine" (Acts 2:42) which is the "foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ being the chief corner stone." (Ephesians 2:20) This salvational message was given "to the Jew first, then to the Gentile" (Romans 1:16; 2:10-11), then it spread amongst the known world of that time. (Romans 10:18; Colossians 1:5-6) This salvational plan we see being distributed from God in the book of Acts when we see in Acts chapter 2 Jews repenting of their sins, being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, and being filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. This same salvational plan came to the Samaritans in Acts chapter 8 and to the Gentiles in Acts chapter 10, and we are still preaching it to this day.
