Dj TeD Rocks began his career as a Dj in Kagiso, Westrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. Although his passion for music, specifically deejaying started in the early 90’s whilst he was in high school. Dj TeD Rocks was committed to completing his studies before he could pursue his career in deejaying. Dj TeD Rocks has played mostly played in the Westrand at venues like L@ Bogert, Night Life, Friends Café, Tso’s Butchery, Paddos, The Joint, John’s Place, Times Café, Shebeen bar & Grill and venues in and around Soweto including the likes of So’ Chilla, Junxion Lifestyle and the Shorts and Mink Skirts party at the Godfrey Moloi mansion. To date the Kagiso born Dj TeD Rocks has shared stages with likes of Dj Vinny Da Vinci, Christos, Claude, Kanunu to name but a few. Although Dj TeD Rocks is a versatile deejay his favorite style of play is soulful house music. more
