The Kingdom as we understand it is the eternal reign of God the Father through Jesus Christ his Son by the work of the Holy Spirit. John the Baptist came introducing the kingdom of God, “The time has come," he said. "The kingdom of God is near." this was not known in the Old Testament. Jesus declared the Kingdom of God, because He is the King of the Kingdom. A great truth of the Kingdom of God is within us today, manifested in our lives today, and many other aspects of the Kingdom of God are working through us today. Corinthians says that we are in a process of being changed from one degree of glory to another degree of glory.
The biggest issue that separates Christians is not about whether you are Calvinist or Arminist, nor the Holy Spirit issue of speaking in tongues or not, but primarily the issue of whether you have the nature of the empires of men or if you have entered into an understanding of the nature of the Kingdom God within you?
