On Digital Radio is part of a Technology Business Group called ST2. The Service is managed by Station founders Richard J Hannah and Lorraine Ellen. Hannah is an online Radio Pioneer who led Global Radio 1 from an online only, UK only brand in 2007 to an online power house sold to a Japanese media Group in 2011. At its height GR1 was heard in 53 countries employed 40 DJs, and spawned spin off channels specialising in Dance Music and entertainment. Global City Radio - started in 2011 and closed its doors in 2013. Global Radio 1 Xtra ran until 2015 as a Dance Music brand in North America and Canada. ​Along the way there were triumphs - a top ten entertainment show 'The Big H Radio Show' presented by Hannah, Joey Coyne's 'Drive Time' , Lesley-Anne Knight's 'The Magic of the Musicals' ( which transferred to Sky TV) and The AM Show presented by former BBC TV Stars, Mike Groth and Adrian Mills. ​Hannah who is a talented and pioneering technologist, created new online technology as far back as 2007 to stabilise quality output, he was broadcasting at higher bandwidths than the BBC services and created Apps and dedicated websites when they were in their infancy.
