My name is Velly Nombe (musically known as Master Vee, the paradox of the Vocal Master). I'm an aspiring professional Vocalist and DJ. Originally from KZN but bred and raised in Atteridgeville, Pretoria (South Africa). Music has always been a part of my life growing up, so this is my story. My musical journey in the game of DJing began in 2011, whereby I saw myself developing a love for music so much that I wanted to learn how to be a DJ. I would listen to all mixes from Metro FM's "Urban Beat", "Metro FM Lounge", to live events that were held around Pretoria (more especially in Atteridgeville, the hood that I grew up in). Fast forward to 2016, I enrolled myself in the Boston City Campus and Business College to do a young DJ course that was driven and educated by one of SA's biggest deep house DJs, Miggs Foreal. Ever since then, the passion of me being a DJ got me to start this podcast where I release mixtapes of Lounge Music (the type of genre that I wanna see myself excelling in the next few years to come). I aspire to be an all-rounded musical figure, filled with multiple genre versatility (as I don't believe in being confined to one specific genre)... In this podcast, music is not genre-based.
