Plot Mary is a cheerful girl and a daughter of a failed businessman. She has grown up being constantly on the run to escape from the debtors after them. Accidentally, she met a rock band singer Kang Moo Kyul by nearly running him over with a car. Moo kyul is attractive and always assumed to be a player with lots of girls throwing themselves at him. Although he has been in and out of relationships, he is highly insecure and hardly reveals true feelings due to his unfortunate childhood. Complication arises when Mary's father Wi Dae Han is saved from his debtors by Jung Suk, who turned out to be his old friend and has just returned from Japan with successful business in entertainment industry. Jung Suk's son, Jung In, got engaged with Mary at a young age. Jung In is seemly the perfect guy with everything a girl wants;however, Mary opposed the marriage from the beginning and desperately to be out of this arrangement by claiming that she had secretly married Moo Kyul. She later on finds herself falling in love with Moo Kyul and in a even more complicated situation with no easy way out. The involvement with two men and onslaught of parents, with pressure from everywhere, would Mary stand guard on her true love? Who would she choose in the end?
