What, ho! Good podcast listener! Afore you sally forth upon your quest through Sherwood Forest, mayhaps thine passage could stand an audible accompaniment? A delightful tune upon Allan A'Dayle's finest lute, perhaps? Or wouldst though prefer another of Friar Tuck's raucous shanties? No? Well how about a podcast all about the movie adaptations of Robin Hood?
Jay Cluitt was joined by Heather Baxendale, Kristen Lopez, Mario Brown and Todd Liebenow to predominantly discuss 1938's The Adventures of Robin Hood with a swash-buckling Errol Flynn, 1991's Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves with a skinny-dipping Kevin Costner and 2010's Robin Hood, with a not-really-playing-Robin-Hood Russell Crowe. We also discussed a few other adaptations as well, revealed our Rants and Raves of the Week and played some Last Lamb Standing.
