KANAVOTI is Lance Lalo KANAVOTI is a Native American DJ/producer from Phoenix, Arizona. As a classically trained musician in his younger days, he discovered DJing in early 1997. His journey has taken him through numerous venues, parties, and raves. He now plays for the masses via his podcast. KANAVOTI has found and added a new passion to his life of music. He wishes to spread the forceful nature of electronic dance music to all his listeners. Music is a life gift for him; and he wishes to share his music with those who wish to listen. KANAVOTI has entitled himself as a musician at a very young age. He began his musical journey in grade school and through high school. In early 1995, with his friend, DJ Son, what started as an idea in a garage bloomed into a musical adventure and started the dream in 1997. The dream...inspired by worldly known musicians, worldly known DJ's, producers, and music trendsetters, and truly unaware where his musical journey would take him...he is now looking to make his mark in music. Music is a life gift for me and I have always enjoyed playing, whether it be just tinkering around on the piano, having jam sessions with old friends, practicing my turntablism with an old colleague, composing a new track, or even remixing--music has always been my escape.
