Back in the 80's music pioneers as Latin Rascals, Chep Nunez, Carlos "After Dark" Berrios, Tony "Dr.Edit" Garcia and Omar Santana created the most spectacular sound effects by only using a reel-to-reel taperecorder and a splicing set. Digital sampler machines displaced editing to the background, but for purists editing was very much alive. And it still is!!!
