The reason for Down The Tea creation is the lack of a major Tennis Podcast that caters to the minority/urban audiences who enjoy tennis, discuss the drama and politics of the sport and have transcended beyond the sole attraction of Venus and Serena Williams. The sport as a whole has greatly benefitted from them and how much they broadened the audience. There are those of us, in the minority viewership, who are devout followers and enthusiasts of the sport as a whole and many different players. In all sports it's common for people to talk cash money shit about players they don't like, when their favorite players mess up, do/say dumb things and the same for the players they don't see it for at all. For us, SooperJae and Fable, tennis is as much a part of our lives just as much as music, your favorite TV shows and other favorite pastimes are apart of yours. So as we chronicle our love for tennis and all that comes with it by way of this podcast. Yes we cuss, yes we'll throw major shade and no there aren't any exceptions. However, we sincerely hope that you all enjoy what we have to say it as well as find some type of amusement in how we say it. SooperJae and Fable more
