Diva began to DJ at the age of 13, where she commuted with the local estate at the Avonmore Youth Club in West London once a week. “I couldn't even mix! In those days it was all about vinyl, but I managed to get the hang of it” Dobrila began playing Jungle and Drum & Bass before moving on to Hip Hop and R&B music types. The House and Garage days are what inspired Dobrila to take a chance and begin to think about really becoming a DJ, so she started to follow the good DJs and go to the night clubs where they played. Dobrila familiarised herself with the known DJs in London, just to feed from them and learn anything from them. Dobrila had a 10 year break from DJ-ing to pursue other dreams, but she knew that she was destined to be a DJ. She is very inspired by The Kings of House, Jamie Jones, MK, Dennis Ferrer, Azari + III and many other DJs and Producers. more
