PC was introduced to classical music by an aunty when he was a child, being taken to concerts and listening to his aunties old wind up gramophone 78 records. His maternal grandmother and aunt were both accomplished classical pianists. At the age of 9 he was taken to his first opera which ignited a lifetime interest in that genre of the arts.
