Today (July 26, 2022) we begin a new series!  Please do checkout our previous series on "The Imbalance of Ethnic Studies." 

This series will focus on Samuel L. Blumenfeld's NEA TROJAN HORSE IN AMERICAN EDUCATION (1984).  I cannot write that enough... this book was published in 1984.  What does the American Education system look like 38 years after the publication of this seminal work?  Frankly -- a little known work.  If I had read this book in 1989, I wonder how I would have felt about the American Education and / or the National Education Association?

There are a total of twenty-one chapters, and I will go through all 21 chapters.  A chapter an episode / week.  Please, do what you can to share this podcast with your friends and other important people!!

From 1989-2021, I taught high school music.  Three of those years, I was at a private school!  I have an understanding what the American Education has morphed into and now I have one idea (NEA TROJAN HORSE IN AMERICAN EDUCATION) how the American Education system is where it is today.   

Teachers who actually will listen to this series, THANK YOU!  There will be many parts of the book that will challenge you.  Challenge you on ... what a load of crap Blumenfeld is or my goodness... I KNOW THIS IS HAPPENING TODAY and it was happening in 1984 and it is still happening over 38 years later?!
