This is the first of a two part podcast on pilots and fatigue. The timing on this podcast is auspicious - this being Sleep Awareness Week. Fatigue is subtle and pilots don't like admitting to it. “To coincide” means to happen at the same time. You can say that two events coincide or that one event coincides with another. The noun “coincidence” is used when you feel it’s unusual for these two things to happen at the same time. When it is hard to keep your resolve:
1. Failure, Matthew 26:31-35……………….it will happen
a. Acknowledge the pain
b. Grieve the loss
c. Forgive the person and yourself
d. Release the event and move on
e. And know none of this is a quick process
2. Rejection, Matthew 27:15-22………………it will happen
3. Physical/emotional pain, Matthew 27:45, 46…… it will happen
