I like to experiment with genres that I tend not to listen to often...keeps my interest in music fresh. Well, here's me playing with DnB last winter (2006)...which is a genre that I have a love/hate relationship with LOL Took some of my favorites from some of the heavyhitters of DnB: High Contrast, Phuturistix, London Elektricity, 4 Hero, & DJ Marky & XRS.

So...I was watching TV not too long ago, & I heard in a commercial "Looking for the Perfect Beat" & immediately wanted to start pop lockin' LOL Gotta love a song that still has a certain effect on you twenty some years later *smile* This goes out to my friend DJ Miss Brownsugar (www.myspace.com/djmissbrownsugar) in Switzerland...who's got me crate diggin' tryin' to hang with her. *wink*
Also, for those that know me, you know I love to sneak my "guilty pleasures" in from time to time...& I love me so...

The first ever recorded live mix for MissKai. Recorded in Memphis, TN on Friday September 28, 2007 during the South Main Trolley Tour in front of Art Village Gallery (410 S. Main). Ascend comprises of MissKai, along with DJ Funke & DJ Saturna.
Set includes Fela Kuti, Swell Session, RSL, Anane, Sandboy & Nanar, Fish Go Deep, Monique Bingham, Dennis Ferrer, Alice Russell, Jooski & Cherie Matheison, Raw Artistic Soul & Ursula Rucker.
