BIOGRAPHY PETER THOMAS

Peter Thomas musical career started at an early age. In the US state of Louisiana Peter was born into a family of musicians. At a young age Peter began to sing and my Grandmother also taught me how to play the guitar.

All the while he would sing in the church choir on Sundays. At the age of 11 he started his first Gospel group, which included several members of his family, aged 8 to 14. This group, named “The Jackson�, performed in Texas and Louisiana churches. Peter would drum and sing in this group.

In high school, at the age of 14, Peter formed his first rock group, named "PSB". In this group Peter mostly played rhythm guitar. Later on in Texas, he joined another band primarily composed of family members. This band played in churches throughout Texas, with Peter as the lead guitarist and singer.

It was from this point onward that Peter started to compose, and play drums on a more serious and regular basis. After in the military he played bass guitar and sang in a band called, "A TOUCH OF CLASS". The same musicians were also part of another band called "CONSTANT FUNK".

When Peter came home from the military he started to play bass guitar and sing in a contemporary Gospel group, “TRUTH AND SOUL�, along beside his father. He also began to regularly play in a church choir. He then became part of another gospel choir as a bass guitar player, as well as drumming and singing at Friendly Chapel. At the same time he played with another family group called “THE MARVELLOUS CHANGE FAMILY�.

Several years later moved New Hampshire, Peter joined a rock n roll band called “RICKY AND THE GIANTS ", as a drummer and singer. He also played with "DAVES NOT HOME". A couple of years later, Peter returned to Texas and joined the orchestra of DOCTEUR LARRY T. BYRD GORDAN, which performed in many different countries and including most of the US and EUROPE. This band used to come to Monte Carlo every summer to perform at STAR’S AND BAR’S, JIMMY’Z and private shows for the PRINCE OF MONACO.

After repeated trips to this part of Europe, PETER decided to move to the south of France. At this time recording several of his own titles in a studio in Italy. From that point, he started to play in different clubs in Monte Carlo with the trio "J-KAY BLUES BAND", and then joined the members of "NEW COMMENT" as a drummer and singer and performed throughout the Cote d’Azur.

PETER then decided to concentrate on creating a professional recording studio in order to record not only his own material, but to search for and assist other artists. During this time he recorded a few titles as a vocalist on some different compilation projects with various artists.

About one year ago PETER created his latest group of singers named EWS (Enter World Stars). EWS performs throughout France and Europe with a large variety of material encompassing originals and covers from American classics to Soul, R&B, Gospel and Dance. PETER also continues to create new solo material in his studio while not touring with EWS.
