i started djing in 1996, mostly as a hobby, i have played in san jose at the blue monkey, johnny v's, zoe and brittania arms... in santa cruz at the blue lagoon, and the cardiff lounge... in campbell at the cardiff lounge... in san francisco at underground sf and the red eye lounge... in oakland at the oasis... i also played at some club in long beach i can't remember the name of but it was a gay club and numerous house parties... influenced originally by the wicked and wicked full moon parties, gatherings, basics etc. original dj influences would be jeno, garth, markie, thomas, spun to name a few.... now it's galen, solar, all the dirty birds, adnan, ecb, kruder and dorfmeister, bonobo, amon tobin, apparat, lusine, robag whrume, wighnomy bros., luciano, soft pink truth, the juan maclean, rob313, lcd soundsystem, shit robot, dj vadim, telefon tel aviv, sasafrass, mstrkrft, hot chip, miss kitten, spank rock, peaches, ricardo villalobos, the list goes on and on... i'll add more to this later...
