I have been DJing for 12 years but grown up with music since i was small starting with taping the big tunes from the top 40 off the radio. I got into Hip Hop in about 1986, then House and Rave in about 1988 when that hit england in a big way, then UK Hip Hop from 89 - 92. Reggae & Dub became my main music when i heard Jah Shaka play in 1993, then I got into Drum and Bass when I went to Metalheadz at Blue Note in 1995. I started listening to ragga and dancehall from about 97 onwards when i moved to hackney and just heard it pumping from every car and all over pirate rado. Recently i got back ino dub music, both the original roots of the 1970's and the newer UK dub style.

I got to big up all the artists and producers who feature on my mixes as well as those who made all the music that influenced me throughout my life.

good music is good music no matter what genre it is...
