Mike Dunn started out djing in the early 80's with long time friends Tyree Cooper & Hugo H! on the south side of Chicago the birth place of House Music. Mike then hooked up with another friend that had a sound system "King" George from Englewood (Chicago) & started djing parties for the park district Ogden Park. Later they move the parties to a church rec center St. Stevens and called it The Courtyard (House In The House). From there Mike started making his on beat tracks to play at the party and did that caught the eye of Producer/Label Owner Chris "Bam-Bam" Westbrook named "Dance U Mutha" which was released in 1987. Mike then took his talents to a bigger label with friend Tyree to DJ International where he released many singles under sudo names such as QX1, MDIII, The Renegades (Fast Eddie), etc. Mike then linked up with friend Armando Gallop to form several underground dance labels Warehouse, Dance Mutha Rec. & Muzique Rec. - Mike also produced for artist like Byron Stingily (Ten City), Shay Jones, Kim English, Candy J., Public Announcement, Do or Die, Mina Jackson, Syleena Johnson. Mike later started producing Chicago Rap Artists & Landed a Joint Venture Deal with Sean "Diddy" Combs but never released any singles due to Bad Boy Records leaving Arista. These days Mike is still producing House Music & has his own imprint soon to be launched in 2011 BlackBall Muzik & has teamed up with long time friend Terry Hunter to release singles & remixes on his label T's Box.....
