Dj Ree aka The People Mover grew up with a huge love and interest for music, his father was a DJ in his day, and owned a night club when he was real young. Ree used to love staying in the DJ booth and watch those guys play, and would say to himself “one day I want to make people move the way these guys do”. He grew up listening to a lot of different music…Sweet Sweet Soca (his passion), Reggae, Hip Hop, Oldies, House, RnB and more.
"The greatest feeling about playing music is when I look up and see the crowd having the time of their lives. It is very satisfying to know that people are dancing and enjoying the music that the artists are putting out. I see myself not just as a DJ, but as an ambassador for the artists out there, I am just a medium between the artists and the crowds. Everyday is a new day, and with each day I’m learning new things, only trying to improve myself as a person and as a DJ. One thing that I always do is stay humble, no matter how far I can go in this industry there is always room for improvement."
