LOST SOUL was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and grew up during the golden age of Hip Hop. His musical journey began during a time when racial tensions gripped New York City and many of his friends fell through the cracks of the system. If it were not for the intervention of an old friend he would had surely suffered a similar fate.

That friend was long time promoter, DJ, and producer PARADISE. It had only taken one conversation with his "Big Brother" that LOST SOUL (then known as SOUL MAN) joined the BLACKWATCH MOVEMENT becoming the first Latino to do so being mentored by the most conscious collective in Hip Hop history. He learned from such greats as the original X-CLAN, ISIS (LIN QUE), QUEEN MOTHER RAGE, YZ, & BETA (ASEN JAMES), plus the movements numerous brothers, sisters, and elders who all learned under the guidance of activist SONNY CARSON.

After BLACKWATCH he spent the next several years as a member of DA LAST SUPPAH along with LORD PHOENIX & DA 7 DIVINE but after several solo & group demos, and a unreleased solo album called "TALES OF A LOST SOUL" the group later disbanded on good terms. LOST SOUL then began working with SIR CAPITAL and recorded several songs that caught the ear of internet radio host BIG MURPH. One song in particular was a remake of the classic GAMES PEOPLE PLAY which started a buzz that unfortunately was cut short when LOST SOUL stepped away to deal with the sudden death of his brother.

LOST SOUL had met BIG MURPH while on the set of BLESS ME VIDEOS which was hosted by LORD BLESS until his death. He also performed several times on the show in the past but things really fell into place when he was contacted by AREWHY from the group BROTHER HOOD 603 who had offered to produce a song for LOST SOUL. He later met with THANOS and AREWHY and the three began working on new music together that seemed to drop on a weekly basis and the internet radio audience was once again in the palm of LOST SOUL's hands!

By early 2009 LOST SOUL has recorded enough material that he is now finally ready to put out an independent release entitled "DREAMS DIE HARD." Most of the production was done by THANOS as well as AREWHY who both appear on several songs on the album. There's also production from GAMBIT, SIR CAPITAL, SERAFINO, & SOUNIEK. Other upcoming projects include INTERNATIONAL MURDA PART 2 which is the long awaited third mixtape from BROTHER HOOD 603 which will contain music from the entire BROTHER HOOD / LXG roster.
