I'm Luke and I'm a DELTA qualified English teacher in West London, UK. I've been teaching for about 11 years, mostly in London but I also taught English in Kanagawa in Japan for 2 years. I teach general English, business English and legal English and I write teaching materials for the EFL classroom. I have been doing Luke's English Podcast for nearly 3 years now, and my aim is to make the learning of English effective, entertaining and insightful. I focus on authentic British English as it really is spoken and used.

Interests
I am very interested in comedy and regularly perform stand-up comedy in London. I also love music, and I play in a couple of bands in London too. I play the drums and the bass, and I'm learning the guitar too (6 strings is a bit too many though I think!). I love football (of course) and rock climbing. My favourite drink is tea, but I'm also partial to a pint of Guiness. London is my home.
