Born and raised in the borough of Brooklyn, N.Y. Swanny River is not a newcomer when talking Hip Hop. His love for music began early in his teens as a DJ for neighborhood parties and events which soon graduated to the club scene in the early 90’s. His work with several heavy hitters such as Kool G Rap,Manslawta & A.M.M.O. in the world of Hip Hop, gave him the experience and knowledge that he uses to make every track he produces a success. River is passionate about the opportunity to work with OUT Hip Hop artists, but welcomes determined artists from all walks of life into his fold. As CEO of S.R. Music group which includes feature artists Splash T,Billy Hood, PKash, Chosin & Montez Love River takes pride in his work and loves seeing the growth of his artists during their career.

Mixtapes is one of River’s many specialties but he is a very multifaceted individual who also co-hosts the Daily talk radio show Da Doo Dirty Show with DJ Baker & His Own Show Rollin With Swanny..His presence can be seen in several music videos and he likes to consider himself his artist’s very own hype man on the tracks he produces by displaying his alter ego known as “The Boogie Man”. When asked why he considers himself the “The BoggieMan” River his response was simple and direct, “I scare them into liking the track.” His current mixtape, It Is What It Is When the Beat Drops, which is scheduled for release of May 2011 is a must have. River has his vision set on being that “go to guy” for artists who are looking for quality tracks from a laid back yet professional production team. Radio and TV production are definitely on the horizon for SR Music Group. They’re focused on their mission to take OUT music to the next level and with Swanny behind it, that will be one River that never stops flowing.
