Susan Hensel Gallery opened in Minneapolis,Mn,September 10th, 2004 as a gallery, workspace and artist resource center presenting 5 to 7 shows per year devoted to the concept of narrative art. It is the belief of Susan Hensel that humans are a "storymaking species" who will always seek, find or provide a story for any experience.

It is the intent of Susan Hensel Gallery to provide art that is engaging, thought-provoking and of a quality that is often reserved for larger exhibiton spaces in the comfort of a casual and community-oriented format.
