St. Matthew's began with a handful of people in 1828 as a Methodist Society and has been serving the greater Richmond area ever since. Our desire is that we would be an authentic, biblical community where people learn to look, live, and love like Jesus. St. Matthew's is striving to be a place where people who are searching can encounter God and find a place in his kingdom and community and join him in his work in the world.

St. Matthew's is a United Methodist congregation located near the intersections of Goochland, Hanover, and Henrico Counties in Virginia.
