Stel Alexander is one of the most exciting new DJ’s to come from the North West of England. He currently holds a residency at Yousefs’ very own award wining club night Circus and on the internet radio station www.myhouse-yourhouse.net. Stels main influences are Justin Longs, Justin Robertson, Ivan Smagghes, Yousef, Laurent Garnier, and Phil Kieran.

Stel Alexander has always been involved in his near by club land by helping out with Chibuku and Creamfields and Stel has ran a couple of his own very successful club nights in the famous Central Station in North Wales. Along side friend Mark Barnes, Stel brought world class DJ’s to Wrexham such as Layo & Bushwaka, Timo Mass, Goldie, Paul Woolford, High Contrast, DJ Hype, Erol Alkan and Alloy Mental to name a few.

Stel started turning some heads with his DJing potential after winning the August 2005 IDJ Magazine competition which in turn got the attention of Yousef who was one of the Judges. In 2008 Stel also came 3rd in a ‘Rising Stars DJ Poll’ missing the first two places to a funky house DJ and a hard house DJ respectively.

Stels sets are full of energy, life and soul and is blend of acid, techno, electronica and jacking house ensures his very own distinctive style. Stel Alexander brings an edge to the basement sound and his enthusiasm and energy are evident in his own beats n bleeps, which are now becoming more of a feature in his new productions.
