Ricardo Kuri
Born and raised in La Ceiba, Honduras. As a child, he sang in the choir and performed in school plays. When he was eleven, he began acting in television commercials and became the Lead Singer of “Los Roland�. Shortly afterward, he took professional singing and acting lessons, which paved the way for auditions., He was chosen to be the “Opening Act� for the Concert Series that “Chayanne� offered in Honduras.
In 1990,he moves to Los angeles,California,and begins studies in Acting and Vocalization. In 1992 and for the next five years, he was the lead singer of the group,�XCESS� ,Pop Rock Group that gave him lots of Stage experience. “Xcess� was very well known in the Latin Club scene in Southern California.
In 1998, “Xcess� broke up,and he moved to Chicago, where he landed a contract with a Spanish Radio Station. He also became the Official MC for All the Latino Acts in the Greater Rockford,IL Area . He created his own Radio show ,“La Chona Mix�,which was aired,every Saturday and Sunday,with lots of success.
Then in 2002,he goes back to Los Angeles where he starts working with different Recording studios as Singer/Songwriter for Demos and Jingles Production.
Ricardo Kuri pairs his singing with modeling,acting and vocalization classes.
In 2007,Ricardo Kuri is working on his own CD;a mix of R&B and Pop music,which he plans to debut this year in Sept.
