Artist Bio

Ray Martin Cerimeli was born in March of 1954 in Youngstown, Ohio. At the time of this writing he is an unrenowned writer, musician, singer and independent producer. He began performing in college and played every gig he could get for more than 20 years which brought him to an impasse to pursue opportunities outside of the music business. After a hiatus of more than a dozen years the road of life once again led him to an impasse. There was an unresolved desire to find himself and continue the journey down the musical path. Now at the age of 57 he has released his first album “Back In Bloom” and thru the process of writing and recording it has evolved to a new point that was personally unreachable 30,20,10 or even 5 years ago. The command and power to create music has arrived bringing with it the realization that he is exactly where he should be, immersed and committed to bringing this bygone style of pre 1990 rock fresh and new back to the ground for people living in the world of 2011 and beyond.
“Looking back I realize now that earlier on I wasn’t really there yet, I needed those experiences to continue developing. Now, in this season I’ve arrived and found who I am. Depending on your perspective I’m a late bloomer or just a has been that never was, either way it's amazing to be back in bloom and productive at a time in history that makes it so easy to write, record and share music."
