Dean Carroll Basking in the warm glow of the highly successful "Aural Exam" mix
Been spinnin' n winnin' from the beginnin' (1977). I credit my introduction to club/house music to two dynamic influences. They were listening late night's to WKTU in New York, as well as my dear friend of over 30 years dj Chris Preston of the Disco Doctors (remember STUDIO 8 on West 38th St & Club Le Freeks on East 46th St.). I also loved listening to Shep Pettibone, Tony Humphries, and the late Jonathon Robinson. My axiom at the time was "We live in NY, but we partied in Jersey". Remember Zanzibars, Gregories, The Peppermint Lounge?
