César Coelho always lived with music all around. Initiating in 1997, his contact with ambient and dance music with psychedelic orientation, early felt the strong link to this musical genre starting to follow the growth of the trance movement in Portugal and increasing his love for this culture. In 2001 initiated his activity as dj, being co-founder, together with Ricardo Costa(Tsuki), of the Mush..n..Deep project ( an hybrid project based in the synergy between djing and musical production ).
After that experience continued his path as dj, under the name plurgrim, participating in several events collaborating with the most acclaimed portuguese trance and ambient event producers ( Good Mood, ChilloutZone, Quest4Goa, Omium, En Sof, Re-Quest, Union prod., Elements trance...) detaching from all, during these years, the participation in the Boom Festival 2004, Freedom 2005, closing the Ambient area of Boom 2006, Utopia 2006, Sinergia 2007, Freedom 2007, Boom 2008 and a lot of small and bigger partys all around the country... living these experiences side by side with some of the biggest references in this musical orientation.
Without letting get stocked to any style explores sonorities that go from ethnical fusion beats, psydub, downtempo...to minimal, tech-trance, electro trance, progressive, psy trance...always trying to create sound landscapes where the rhythm and the melody flows as one, giving sense to what moves him in this musical area, the communion between Nature, Music and Man.
During 2007 another step forward was given when Cocoon project materialised after a long time of incubation, with the will of showing new perspectives of facing reality.
Cocoon is a multi-cultural project of creative transformation where music, image, movement, rhythms, sounds, dances, ecology, natural feeding, xamanism… are thematics of workshops, lectures and other meetings with which Cocoon looks forward to stimulate senses, create spaces of creativity, self knowledge, knowledge of the other and transformation. With already several small meetings and some collaborations, all with a good feedback from the crowd, enforced the aim to go forward with the project...Thanks ))i(( to All...
