Rob started djing in 1985 with HipHop, when first B-Boy wave roll over europe. In the next years, he also started collecting Funk, Soul and other Rare Groove material, cause diggin the roots of Black Music let him see the music with an open mind. In the beginnin of the 90ies, he was one of the first Djs, who playin the so-called "Acid Jazz" direction and supported alot of venues and events in south germany. During the mid 90ies he extend his musical horizon with jazzhouse, offbeat and new uptempo variations of Jazz, Soul & Funk. He moved 1999 to Hannover to work as Head of Media / Djpromoter for Peppermint Jam, which was a very exciting experience and one of the reasons, why he StartUp an own label. During this time he get in touch with the "new movement" call Brokenbeat & Futurejazz ...
2001 he moved back to Nuremberg built up his career as freelance designer and DJ-ed at venues he really like.
Finally he started his label in|phusion in december 2005 and the ClubConcept "PHUSED" to give people the chance to listen to a different spectrum of soulful music and to promote the label aswell.
