pDouble first learned how to DJ on a set of turntables over a decade and a half ago in his hometown of Toronto, Canada with SoundQuest Entertainment Group. In 2001, he made the move back to his country of origin where he last lived as a child and since then, he has prospered as an MC for clubs, parties and major events such as Playground, Godskitchen, SunDaze, Jakarta Movement, Cream, Dance Republic and more, alongside some of the greatest international talents that have performed in Indonesia, including Tiesto, AvB, Sasha, Paul van Dyk, Deadmau5, John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold, Ca$h Money amongst many others, and branched out into different ventures as well, such as hosting a weekly television program (“Paranoia” 2006-present), broadcasting on a weekly radio show (HardRockFM), live sports telecasts and also as the first and only true streetball MC in the country. Making his home base in Jakarta since the turn of the millennium, his tours have taken him to over 30 cities around Indonesia, bringing his skills to the far reaches of the nation, earning him several awards along the way (Rookie of the Year 2005, Paranoia Icon 2006, FreeMag MC of the Year 2007 & Paranoia MC of the Year 2009).

His latest venture, however, brings him back to where it all started, behind 2 turntables & a mixer. Having learned to DJ during the golden era of hiphop in the 90s, his musical taste has remained somewhat unchanged, leading him to an urban fusion of musical variety from the old school sounds of hiphop/R&B, disco classics & funk, to various ranges of groovy house music with chunky beats from deep, minimal, latin, afro and jackin’ house, with a touch of baille funk, not to mention all those big room, crowd pumping anthems you know and love. With house music grabbing much of the spotlight as of late, pDouble has made the exciting transition from MC to DJ (and sometimes even both simlutaneously) and since the beginning of 2010, he has been very well received by the masses, bringing his unique sound to numerous venues in Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Bali and several other cities around Indonesia. He has already opened for a range of international acts this year, including The Hoxton Whores, Chris Penny aka CPEN, DJ Milana (Ukraine) & Groove Assassin (UK), and hopes to do so for many others in the years to come. His unique character has undoubtedly enticed the likes of several international brands such as Nike, Aerial7, 16DS & HellBobS Custom Tattooing, for which he is a proud ambassador, not to mention this one-of-a-kind music connoisseur also represents SoulMenace as the sole member from a hiphop label in the newly formed Solid House Community.
