  About Me — May 25, 2009  

The Unofficial Prince Friends Club was started in 2007. I started the page because it seemed that Prince wasn't very interested in maintaining a website. So I started the UPFC on MySpace (www.myspace.com/princefriendspage) as a place where all of Princes friends from around the world could connect and enjoy his music and videos. My focus for the page was to present rare and hard to find performance video and audio by Prince. Due to Prince's recent legal action against different media outlets this has become increasingly difficult. One of the UPFC MySpace members even received a message from MySpace saying the page would be deleted if the copyrighted material was not removed from her page. Luckily I have been able to dodge Prince's legal team's radar. That leads us here. Since MP3 space is limited on MySpace I thought the next best thing to do is start a podcast. I refuse to cave in. They're going to have to shut me down! With that said, I hope you all enjoy the podcast as much as I enjoy presenting it. Peace and B Wild! Become a fan! Become a friend!
