Not many 17-year-old girls could attest to being Bette Midler groupies, but while in college, Michelle Hotaling hit the road with her best friend. Her journey was later chronicled in the memoir, "Bette or Bust" published by a division of Random House. The same sense of adventure and reverance for legendary performers in the music world shines through Michelle`s debut album, "Chained by Dreams." From rock to pop to jazz, Michelle considers her sound to be reminscent of a schizophonic, ethereal, purple-loving, lyrically-based, 70`s-influenced, wannabe hippy dancing around in scarves and sequins to a wurlitzer, drum loop, and wa-guitar. Or to simplify? Something thrown into a big genre known as pop-rock...
