About Me — May 26, 2009
My debut novel MY ADVENTURES IN CYBERSPACE is set in Sheffield and on a fictitious internet discussion forum. It's based on my life, and is a humorous, erotic dark tale of an unhappily married mother of three, Dominique DuBois, who falls in love with a man on the internet without knowing what he looks like, merely by dint of his writing. Think Brief Encounter in cyberspace. I'm in the process of writing the sequel and looking for a literary agent.
I perform excerpts from the book live on the last Tuesday of every month at The Lescar, Sharrowvale Road, Sheffield, as part of Sheffield's premiere open-mic night, Words Aloud, and also on the first Wednesday of every month at Runaway Girl, Arundel St, Sheffield.
