Indie Montreal is a concert production/promotions company born and bred in Montreal. We organize, coordinate and promote Pop Music shows in and around Montreal that showcase the best talent in the Canadian Independent music scene. We try to form long-term ties with our artists and gain our fans’ confidence. We see our business primarily as a tool for disseminating information about the brightest up and coming Canadian talent. To do this, we have established a monthly radio show that introduces the public to the artists that we work with. It will be available on our website, www.indiemontreal.ca, in late-July. This will turn into a weekly program, to be available online and to be played on local airwaves, showcasing the Indie Montreal Top 10 – a countdown featuring the most voted-for tracks in our network. In addition, www.indiemontreal.ca is quickly becoming a hub for Canadian music fans: it is starting to represent Eastern Canada’s vast pool of talent. Montreal has a world famous music scene and we are quickly becoming one of its ambassadors. We run 10-12 concerts per month and carefully select the performers. We are, notably, involved in booking New Music Thursdays, a weekly series at the new Jupiter Room produced by Pop Montreal.
