ELEVATIONS is New York City's premiere broken beat radio show, broadcasting the underground broken beat sound, with an infusion of nu jazz, future soul, hip hop, and other cosmic rhythms. The ELEVATIONS Krew, ERNESTO VIGO and PROBE DMS (Spymusic/2000 Black/DMS Country), is consistently searching out and discovering home grown and imported soulful tracks from west coast to east coast, West London, Barcelona, Berlin, Tokyo and beyond, with the goal of exposing audiences globally to the broken beat sound via NYC airwaves and live streams. ELEVATIONS has featured live interviews and guest mixes by Producers and DJs worldwide, including Ty, Eska, Mark de Clive-Lowe, Bembe Segue, Phuturistix, Champion Soul, Inverse Cinematics, Ben Mono, Afronaught, Benji B, Lizz Fields, Yellowtail, Jaymz Nylon, Arch_Typ, Ge-ology, Billy Bizzness, Sway Dasafo, Barry King, Lifted, Chicus, Kiva, Sun Tzu Sound, and many more. In March 2004, Vigo delivered the demo and concept for Elevations Radio to Angela Harden, Station Manager at WHCR 90.3FM, The Voice of Harlem. And the rest, as they say, is historyELEVATIONS RADIO launches New York Citys only LIVE weekly 2-hour journey into broken beats, nu jazz, or what the Elevations Krew callsFuture Soul from the heart of Harlem.

Why Harlem? Aside from it being home to both Vigo and Probe, Harlems always been open to new ideas, cultivating Jazz music and inspiring new musical forms---creations juxtaposed with a history of civil rights struggle---that continues to push, or elevate the musical landscape into new directions through Elevations and the Harlemtronik unity movement, Harlem's second musical renaissance!
