Music

Electronic dance music. Not confined to a single sub-genre, sets are geared towards the theme of the event and the mood of the people. Depending on the night, one could hear Disco, 80’s, house, progressive, electro, fidget, techno, drum and bass, etc all mixed together in a way that makes sense and takes the crowd to new levels. The influences of such originators as Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, Depeche Mode, The Cars, Josh Wink, Norman Cook (Fat Boy Slim), Pet Shop Boys, and other greats, can be heard in both DJ sets and original works.

Experiences

Joined the electronic dance music scene as a kid in the early 80’s, started making the transition from dance floor to turntables in 1993. Moving to Colorado for a few years, played three nights a week at one of the most popular clubs in the area (the Underground) playing 80s, industrial, and house. In a true ‘trial by fire’ situation, learned to play the hard way, in front of a crowd.

Since then have had some very notable gigs both nationally and internationally. Hosted and played a twice weekly underground music radio program with Clear Channel for almost 7 years (one of the longest radio programs of its kind), underground events (including Nocturnal Wonderland, Electric Daisy Carnival, Global Beach Music Festival), clubs (including Los Angeles Entertainment Center, Insomnia Afterhours, Club Ruby/World, Vanguard), television, radio, fashion shows, store fronts, private functions, concerts and just about every other imaginable venue kind and event type.

Logging a conservative estimate of over 2200 live gigs in the last 15 years and around 7-9000 hours in front of audiences, have earned the recognition of Unanimous Choice for DJ of the Year by the 2007 Los Angeles Music Awards. Continuing down the DJ path, currently also writing, producing, and performing original music as well, two of which will be featured in an upcoming independent film.
