It must be in the year of 1992, when i get infected by house music, listening to a mix tape by Boris Dlugosch, recorded in the Club " Neuschwanstein “ , Cologne. Totally new and uplifting music for me. A big love was born.
“ Oh happy day “, I bought my first own turntables, with a good friend of mine! Party is getting started.
After doing B-day´s, private Parties and some local gigs, I had the pleasure to make some club experiences , in a Club called “ Die Falle “, Bonn.
Following by our own parties, called “ Groove Hacienda “.
My “ Big One´s “ are especially : Frankie Knuckles, Todd Terry, Masters at Work, Terrence Parker, Kerry Chandler, Tommy Musto, Franckie Feliciano, Joey Negro, Grant Nelson, David Morales, Lenny Fontana, Basement Boys, Soulfuric- Crew. Voices by Jocelyn Brown, Barbara Tucker, Ultra Nate…………. And on, on, on. I love them all.
Such an inspiring thing to enjoy nearly all of them live in the mix or om Stage ( Thank God for : Popkomm )
Most influenced by the good old days, I love it deeply underground, as much as vocal, funky, soulful, disco, dubby or techy., sometimes like to surf through the genres ..
