Nick started DJing in 2000. Whilst in Ibiza he asked SMOKIN’ JO for a lesson and that was it – Nick was hooked!
Back in London in the years to follow Nick built up his reputation holding down residencies up and down the UK including PARADISE FACTORY in Manchester and MISSION in Leeds and guesting abroad at QUEEN – Paris, LA CHAPELLE - LYON and NEW YORK JAZZ –Italy and PROPAGANDA-Moscow, all this whilst working at London’s longest running DJ record store CITY SOUNDS. It was at this time that Nick secured sought after residencies at DTPM at FABRIC, DISCOTEC at THE END and FICTION at THE CROSS.
In 2007 Nick shared his main floor residency at HEAVEN for two years with acclaimed DJ/Producer PAGANO. Nick now plays for MARKET at FABRIC , EGG, TRADE, FIRE and SUPERMARTXE – LONDON.
Nick’s sets are journeys though Tech House, Progressive, and Classic House interwoven with an Iberican inspired Tribal undercurrent.
Nick is one half of Production unit WHITE KNIGHTS with co writer JASON GARDINER. Their debut track with KATHY BROWN “SOUND OF THE CITY” reaching top 5 in the UK club Charts, followed by “REPLAY” with BELLE ERSKINE which is featured on the FIERCE ANGELS 2009 Compilation CD and released on CHAMPION RECORDS with NICK TCHERNIAK REMIXES.
Nick’s also produces or plays B2B with legendry DJ- STEVE THOMAS, TCHERNIAK & THOMAS “NEVA” out on AXIS TRAX and “BELIEVE” is released Summer 2009 on FILTHY GROOVIN RECORDS.

..Our final choice goes to one of our favourite D.J’s who never fails to entertain us every time we hear him play. We have chronicled his works in previous posts, but it goes without saying that his music genres of tech, electronic & progressive house have won him residencies throughout Europe and beyond, including Propaganda in Moscow, Queen in Paris, La Chapelle in Lyon & New York and Jazz in Rome, not to mention DTPM, Fiction & Discotec here in London. Recent outstanding performances at Barcode & SuperMartXe have only been eclipsed by his scintillating set at Trade’s Xmas party which was the real highlight for us. He repeated it all at Trade/Orange this Easter and did it again this Sunday at Trade “Pride 09 The Afterhours” at the Ministry of Sound, playing out to an audience packed “Box Room”
