"Mrs. Pleasant" is actually, Emily Amarnick. Mrs. Pleasant was a nickname that her parents gave her as a baby and in some way has always stuck. Emily has been into cooking healthy food for as long as she can remember. She's always been fascinated by the art & love that goes into preparing healthy tasty food.

She was born and raised in Philadelphia, and grew up surrounded by art and music; nurtured by her family, and propelled by her innate need to create. After some time in Brooklyn, NY, she's returned to Philly. Inspired by everything around her she’s been studying food, fashion, art and most importantly, people - her entire life.

Whatever her future, the results are sure to be passionate, soulful and sincere. Her mission is to make people feel wonderful on the inside and outside and inspire them in the process to live a vibrant healthy life!
