Most Old Time Radio pages refer a lot to nostalgia and seem to talk about memories of those golden days of radio. The word nostalgia implies that a first hand memory is present and you are revisiting or enjoying things that you once knew. The word Retro means to go back, not necessarily to a place you had ever been to before. As time marches on, more and more people have never lived in those golden days of radio. I hope to bring back memories to those who have them, but also to help introduce younger listeners to the style of entertainment that their parents and grand parents enjoyed.

Just think, as you listen to these shows, when these were brand new, your parents might not even have been born yet. Your grand parents might have been the age that you are right now, or younger. Your great grand parents might have been just beginning to raise their young family. A much simpler time.

So, take a few minutes out of your busy schedule and hop into my time machine. Enjoy a trip to a different time, to a different culture. Back when advertisements about male enhancement drugs or feminine hygene products were never heard of over the airwaves and when cigarettes were healthy, safe and normal. By the way, advertisements are left in for entertainment purposes only, I can't endorse them and a lot of the products are out of production anyway. With that said, have some fun and enjoy.
